静岡を拠点に、おもしろい仕事なら世界中どこにでも。

​

建築設計からインテリア・家具・プロダクトとなんでもデザイン、

ときに自ら製作まで手がけます。

自社の工房にはCNC加工機を備え、設計したものを自分たちで作っちゃいます。

とはいえ、なんでもかんでも自らやれるわけではありません。

グラフィックデザイナーをはじめ、職人やエンジニア、
プロジェクトに応じてさまざまなクリエイターと協働しながら、

デザインと制作の両方に向き合っています。

デザインとは、0から何かを生み出すことではなく、

すでにあるものを組み合わせることだと考えています。

モノとモノかもしれない、モノとコトかもしれない。

その組み合わせにドキドキしたり、ソワソワしたりできるのです。

私はモノが大好きなので、世の中欲しいものだらけ。

探せばなんでも見つかります。モノが溢れるこの時代に、

足りないものなど何も無いとも思うのですが、にもかかわらず、

「・・・作ってみたい」という抗いようのない欲求に、手を止められないのです。

産み出すものは、建築であれ家具であれ、「人」のように考えています。

どんな顔をしているのか。どんな性格なのか。
どのように歳を重ねるのか。どんな人生を送るのか。

派手で強い存在感を持つものもあれば、静かで控えめなものもあります。

どちらが優れているということではありません。

何はともあれ、幸せな一生になってほしいと考えて、デザインしています。

My thoughts so far.

Based in Shizuoka City, Japan — but ready to go anywhere in the world for the right project. We design everything from architecture and interiors to furniture and products. Sometimes we make things ourselves too. Our workshop is equipped with a CNC machine, which means we can actually build what we design. That said, we don't do everything alone. We collaborate with graphic designers and other creatives as each project calls for, staying committed to both design and making.

We think of design not as creating something from nothing, but as combining what already exists. Maybe it's thing and thing. Maybe it's thing and idea. And in that combination, we find ourselves excited — that flutter of anticipation, that quiet thrill. There's no shortage of things in this world, and honestly, if you look hard enough, you can find almost anything. Yet despite all that, we can't seem to stop ourselves from wanting to make something. It's an urge we can't quite resist.

Whether it's a building or a piece of furniture, we think of everything we create as a person. What do they look like? What's their personality? What kind of life will they lead, and how will it end? We apply these questions directly to what we make. A flashy exterior with little substance — like someone all surface and no depth. Or a quiet, unassuming presence that turns out to be remarkably thoughtful and warm — like a simple home full of unexpected hospitality. Neither is right or wrong. Whatever form it takes, we just want it to live a good life.
